Origin

Overview

We believe that every person has a unique meaning behind their date of birth.  Therefore we developed an interactive installation to reveal the mystery.  Origin is a visualisation of a combination of illustrations according to the date of birth. It’s based on the Chinese zodiac signs with techniques from the Feng Shui theory to create a unique, personal tattoo. The tattoo illustrations display the day, month, and year of the bearer’s birth, with added details based on the Chinese zodiac such as animals, the elements, shape, season, traits, and day characters. The concept behind Origin is to express oneself with a personal tattoo that represents the user depending on their date of birth, by projecting onto the user's arm to reveal it using animations creating a wow factor.
